Sinn Féin Workers' Rights Spokesperson Arthur Morgan TD has called on
management at Tara Mines to lift the protective notice imposed on their
workers and to recommence negotiations with union officials. Deputy
Morgan accused management at the company of using the current economic

Sinn Féin Finance Spokesperson Arthur Morgan TD has described the €12.7
billion exchequer deficit as one of the most serious challenges the
state has ever faced but went on to stress that lower paid workers
should not be expected to take a pay cut while the wealthier in society
avoid paying their fair share. Deputy Morgan called for a job creation
fund to initiate and implement labour intensive public infrastructure
