Cllr Todd tables motion calling for re-opening of Ashling Park

Sinn Féin Dundalk Town Councillor Harry Todd has tabled a motion for the March meeting of the council calling for Ashling Park to be re-opened.
Cllr Todd Says
Ashling Park has been closed, with locks on the gates, since early January. It is not acceptable that this facility is closed to the public. Young and old took great enjoyment from the park. I have tabled the motion below for the March meeting of the council and I hope to receive full support from my fellow councillors.
"That this council re-opens Ashling Park, which has been closed to the public since early January. This situation cannot be allowed to remain indefinitely as the residents, particularly the young and elderly are being deprived of this much needed facility."
