Sinn Féin selected Harry Todd to fill a vacancy on Dundalk Town Council in December '07.

Harry is a member of Planning MPC and Newry and Mourne / Dundalk Town Council Joint Committee.

A retired brewery worker he is currently chairperson of Coxes United Tenants Association (CUTA), which covers Oakland Park, Beechmount Drive, Cedarwood Park, Ashling Park and Barton Park.

Married to Margaret, Harry first became involved with the Republican Movement in 1970 and has held various positions in Sinn Féin locally. In the 2004 local elections Harry stood as a candidate for Sinn Féin for the Dundalk Carlingford Electoral Area of Louth County Council and received a very substantial 545 first preference votes.
