Seamus Gaffney, a native of Ardee was co-opted onto Ardee Town Council in December '04 to replace Jim Gavin as Sinn Féin councillor for the town.
Proper planning for Ardee and community safety are among his priorities as a councillor. He also wishes to see greater roles and resposibility given to Ardee Town Council considering the growth of the town over the past number of years.
